Monday to Saturday: Stagecoach operates Routes 4 and 5 between Aldershot and Farnham, the #5 via Upper Hale with a regular service on Mondays-Saturdays (4 buses per hour) but a 2-hourly service on Sundays. On the #5, you should alight at the War Memorial, which is between Upper Hale Tesco and Hale Church in the timetable. The Village Hall is one minute's walk from the War Memorial down Wings Road. Sundays (or days with a Sunday service): The #4 does not go to the War Memorial, but on days with the Sunday bus service is operating, the #4 may be the faster option. From the nearest bus stop on the #4 route, called 'Trimmers Close', walk down the hill from the bus stop, following the road around to the left and its junction with Alma Road. Two routes from here: Turn right into Alma Road, then 1st left into Queens Road, which changes from a road into a gravel track. Continue down this to the main road and then take the track diagonally (to your left) opposite, which comes out right by the hall. (8 minutes' walk). Alernatively, turn left into Alma Road and 1st right into 'Ball and Wicket Lane'. This brings you to the War Memorial and the hall is 100 yards further on straight ahead (across the main road).
